The European Union has just approved the new Regulation that establishes the standards on which the production and commercialization of organic farming is based. Since Camposeven, which has been betting for organic and biodynamic agriculture for more than ten years, we hope that this Regulation will allow us to continue improving and modernizing this sector.
The Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development of the EU, Phil Hogan, explained that the approval of the text of the Regulation "allows existing and potential organic producers to plan with confidence and certainty on the basis of new rules that will come into effect on 1 January 2021. "
The European green sector is on an upward trajectory and this Regulation will support the growth of the sector by providing an adequate legislative framework.
Producers, operators and business partners now have two and a half years to adapt to the new legislative framework that is also designed to protect the interests of European consumers, a commitment with which Camposeven and our online sales brand Freshvana are committed for years.
The new legislative environment is favorable to growth and will contribute to making this increasingly important and important sector achieve its undoubted potential, based on the principle of equal conditions.
