Both institutions have strengthened their collaboration with the signing of a University Chair of 'responsible agrifood systems'

This is the basis on which the Catholic University of Murcia and the company Camposeven have secured this morning their collaboration with the creation of the University Chair of 'responsible agro-food systems'. The latter, whose objective is to work in the field of research to incorporate new technologies into the agricultural world, will focus its activities in areas related to food, health, agricultural production systems, corporate social responsibility (CSR), marketing, Sustainable economy or market research.
Camposeven, located in San Pedro del Pinatar, is dedicated to the production and marketing of organic and biodynamic horticultural products - a cropping system based, among other things, on the relationship between plantations and astrology. Among the projects in which the Chair could work are the development of online sales of organic products, in addition to the use of drones.
The agreement was signed by José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM, and by Adolfo García, general director of Camposeven, who has stressed the idea of the need for a union between the world of the company "which is where the experience is" , And the university "that's where the knowledge is". Also present was Estrella Núñez, Vice Chancellor of Research of the Catholic, who recalled that both institutions are already developing joint projects, in the case of the Industrial Doctorates program of the university institution.
