We are in luck! The newspaper La Verdad has awarded Camposeven the Agro award in Ecological Agriculture. These awards have been created with the purpose of distinguishing companies, people and institutions that with their work, projects and activities have contributed to strengthen the agri-food industry. This initiative highlights the work of this sector, one of the most relevant and of major importance in the Region, and that until now did not have its own recognition.
The Alimer cooperative, the Cebas and Imida research and innovation centers, G'S Spain, the Itum Fifteen variety, the Lorca Food Group, the researcher Alfredo Lacasa and the firm Marín Giménez Hermanos have also been distinguished.
A wide jury whose representatives have a great career in the sector proposed the nominees in the different categories: Export Prize, Research-Innovation Prize, Ecological Agriculture Prize, Sustainability Prize, Product-Variety of the Year Award, and Special Prizes in the modalities of Agriculture, Livestock and Industry.

The company Camposeven has obtained the Ecological Agriculture Award, for being a pioneer in the ecological production of vegetables and citrus fruits in the Campo de Cartagena, whose partners are producing under this system since the early 1980s.
The award ceremony of the Agro Awards will take place on Monday, November 13 at the Víctor Villegas Auditorium at 8:30 p.m. This first edition has the sponsorship of the Autonomous Community, Terra Fecundis, Jeep Huertas Center, Caja Rural Central, and the collaboration of dqagro.es and the Council of Organic Agriculture of the Region of Murcia.
